Kielbasa, or Krakauer, is a smoky and very flavourful sausage originating from Poland. The sausage has a coarser texture, seasoned with garlic and herbs. Added cheese bits in this version make it even better! It can be barbequed, pan-fried or even deep-fried and makes for a rustic and pretty juicy bite. The cheese lends extra flavour and a taste of comfort food. Before preparation, please gently incise the sausage a few times to avoid rupture.
